Ours is an age when the distinction between work and life has become increasingly blurred. It's an age of information and work overload — an age of overtime and over commitment.

Finding balance and safety in these circumstances is challenging. Yet balance and safety in our workplaces and home places is a key factor in maintaining our wellbeing as we care for others.

Conference Goals

To help create balance in our work lives and safety in our workplaces, BCNU's OH&S department is presenting a series of regional conferences. They are opportunities to engage in dialogue with your colleagues and with a number of thoughtful experts in the field of health and safety.

Keynote Speakers

Linda Edgecombe helps her audiences to shift perspectives on life, work and themselves. She leads people to loosen up, lighten the load and laugh.

Dr. Mark Holder is an award winning teacher and researcher. He's referred to as "one of Canada's leading academics on the study of happiness."

Dr. Joti Samra is a research scientist specializing in workplace depression, suicide and chronic health conditions.
